Since our last ocean rowing round-up<\/a>, Louis Margot has restarted his round-the-world challenge, a father-son duo is aiming to break a world record, and the World\u2019s Toughest Row is underway.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Pacific Ocean\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

The World\u2019s Toughest Row<\/strong> race started on June 6, the counterpart to the company\u2019s annual Atlantic Race. Compared to the more common Atlantic route (from the Canary Islands to Antigua), this route sees <\/span>fewer rowers. Before the race’s inception, only 33 crews had rowed from mainland America to Hawaii.<\/span><\/p>\n

This year, four teams have entered and are battling 4,500km across the mid-Pacific from Monterey, California, to Hanalei Bay, Hawaii.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
