His Arctic World Tour will include stages in Scandinavia, Iceland, and Greenland. He hopes to inspire people to <a href=\"https:\/\/explorersweb.com\/two-italians-are-cycling-1200km-through-the-coldest-part-of-siberia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">travel by bicycle<\/a> and point out the impact of fossil fuel emissions on arctic landscapes.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/mfWp0vhNSnE\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h2>Di Felice&#8217;s route and trip details<\/h2>\n<p>Di Felice hopes to complete the cycling in three weeks. Currently, <a href=\"https:\/\/live.endu.net\/omar-adventures\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">GPS tracking<\/a> shows that he&#8217;s already covered a good chunk of the 800km he planned to ride between the capital of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy and Ust&#8217;-Kamchatsk.<\/p>\n<p>He will then proceed to Murmansk, Russia, near the Norwegian border. Stages between Troms\u00f8, Norway, through Finland and Sweden, will take him another 1,500km. Along with his 4,000km on the bike, he&#8217;s imposing a rule to supply and support himself locally when possible. Even if it&#8217;s well below zero, he plans to pitch camp if he can&#8217;t find indoor accommodation.<\/p>\n<p>You can follow Di Felice via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/omardifelice\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">social media channels<\/a>. He plans frequent updates, with episodes featuring locals and arctic scientists. The ultra-cyclist wants to highlight his interview subjects&#8217; experience living in areas under changing climatic circumstances.<\/p>\n<p>Di Felice has previous experience with cold-weather cycling. He already circumnavigated Iceland this winter via the 1,294km <a href=\"https:\/\/adventures.is\/iceland\/attractions\/ring-road\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ring Road<\/a>.
